| Sarah Corrigan is a graphic designer who owned her own mural and painting business and decorates display homes. She has teamed up with her mother, Mary Kay Carapella, who is a 18 year veteran real estate agent. Between the two, they have seen a lot of home interiors and have a feel for what people like. Combine the experience with their mutual need for a creative outlet, and the hundreds of new homes in St. Charles county needing to be filled, it seemed the time and place were right to venture into a business that addressed it all. The result is The White Hare, a retail store full of unique accessories, gifts, and garden decor. Located in the new Lakeside Shoppes At Winghaven, the store was opened November 1st, 2003 and has enjoyed a growing notoriety. Sarah is general manager and works daily at the store while Mary Kay continues her real estate career, pitching in when available and partnering with Sarah on behind the scenes work. They place special emphasis on finding new and different merchandise to keep the look fresh. Ordering new things is an ongoing process resulting in shipments nearly everyday! Customers constantly comment that the whole store has changed since their last visit. The White Hare also offers monthly giveaways and specials which go out to their rapidly growing email group (join our group by going to the contact us page and filling in your info!). In September of 2005, to accommodate the customers and merchandise, The White Hare was moved down the shopping center to a new space doubling the size!
